These terms are an agreement between you and DUBBset Inc., a Delaware corporation doing business as The Coach's Board ("we" and "us"). They cover thecoachsboard.com, our newsletter and The Faceoff Podcast (together, "The Coach's Board"). By using The Coach's Board you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
Who can use it
You need to be at least 13 to use The Coach's Board, and at least 18 to send a partnership inquiry or a Roster nomination. If you act for a company, you confirm you're allowed to.
Our content
The articles, newsletters, episodes, transcripts, graphics, design and other material we publish belong to DUBBset Inc. or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. The Coach's Board, The Faceoff and our logos are our trademarks.
You're welcome to read and listen, share links, and quote short excerpts with credit and a link back. Please don't republish whole articles, newsletters or episodes, sell our content, or use it to train or build a competing product without our written permission.
The names, logos and trademarks of our guests, of companies on The Roster and of other organizations belong to their owners. Featuring them doesn't mean they endorse us, or that we endorse them.
Not advice
Everything on The Coach's Board is for information and conversation. None of it is financial, investment, legal, tax, medical or other professional advice. Coverage of a company, a funding round or a market isn't a recommendation to invest. Guests speak for themselves. Do your own research, and talk to a qualified professional before you make decisions.
Sponsorships and partnerships
The Coach's Board is supported in part by sponsorships and paid partnerships, such as partner episodes of The Faceoff Podcast, sponsorships of the podcast and the Monday News Roundup, and spotlights on The Roster. We identify paid content as paid.
Partnership quotes and agreements are made in writing. Nothing on the site is a binding offer.
What you send us
When you send us a tip, a nomination (including a logo), a partnership inquiry or anything else, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it's accurate as far as you know. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, edit, publish and promote it in connection with The Coach's Board. We decide what to cover and publish, and we may decline anything. Please don't send us confidential information you don't want us to use.
If you're a guest or a partner and we've signed a separate written agreement, that agreement controls wherever it differs from these terms.
The Shop
Merchandise is sold and fulfilled by Fourthwall on its own site. Fourthwall's terms and policies cover orders, payment, shipping and returns.
Acceptable use
Don't use The Coach's Board to break the law, send spam or malware, submit false information or pretend to be someone else, copy or harvest content or data in bulk, interfere with the site or try to get around its security, or harass anyone.
Other sites
We link to other sites and services, such as YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, social networks and the companies we cover. We aren't responsible for their content or their practices.
Disclaimers
The Coach's Board is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We work hard to get things right, but we don't guarantee that what we publish is complete, current or free of errors, or that the site will always be available.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, DUBBset Inc. isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of The Coach's Board, and our total liability for any claim about The Coach's Board is limited to $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Indemnity
If something you send us, or your misuse of The Coach's Board, leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs, including legal fees.
Copyright concerns
If you believe something on The Coach's Board infringes your copyright, email paulvariano@gmail.com with the material you mean, where it appears, your contact details, and a statement that you own the copyright or are authorized to act for the owner. We'll review it and take material down where that's appropriate.
Changes and ending access
We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top will change, and significant changes will be announced on the site or in the newsletter. If you keep using The Coach's Board after an update, you accept it. We may suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in the State of New York, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction.
